SUPPORT-EDUCATIONAL GROUP
Going through a divorce can bring about a million emotions, some that are frustrating all the way to those that are maddening. It helps to have others to talk to that are not close friends or family in order to gain support and give realistic perspective to your situation. In addition, when you are going through this process you want to be the best thinker possible, with the help of a trained group leader and others to share their experience it can be a much more productive experience.
TERRI ROMANOFF-NEWMAN, Ph.D, LICENSED PSYCHOLOGIST and COACH is offering a Support-Educational Group for woman which will cover topics such as handling feelings about:
- Being left, how do I cope?
- How do I deal with the confusion?
- Worry about the children
- Ways to talk to family and friends that are productive and do not cause fighting
- Strengthening my self esteem
- Understanding how and why I am grieving
- Surviving the process and being productive
- Looking at what are the positive aspects of the future; what have I wanted to do
- Developing a group of people who will listen and provide suppor

WHEN:
Tuesdays from 11:30-1:00 OR Thursdays from 5:00-6:30 pm - 2 choices 9 week group, with an option to continue if the group desires. We will meet three weeks in a row and take a break on week number 4, so as to give everyone a break, and then start up the next week for the series of three again.
COST:
Each group is $50, and the series of three cost, $150 will be collected at the beginning of the first week of the series of three.
